About Northwest Florida Mensa

Northwest Florida Mensa experienced a resurgence in membership and has grown from 79 members to 200. The group continues to grow.Northwest Florida Mensa now covers all of Florida west of the Apalachicola River.

The group changed names from PensaMensa to Northwest Florida Mensa in March 2000, partially to reflect their expanded range since the last group boundary realignment. Northwest Florida Mensa now covers all of Florida west of the Apalachicola River, or, put another way, all of Florida that is in the Central Time Zone.

Members of Northwest Florida Mensa get together locally for events such as speaker meetings, Happy Hours, potluck dinners and game nights. Check out our calendar of local events.
